April 15 was released the service pack 1 in Italian.
Now you can download the Service Pack 1 of Windows Vista via Windows Update, as reported by the blog windowsvistablog. For now available only versions in English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. For the version in Italian will have to wait in April when it released the SP1 for 31 other languages.
The automatic update, for those who have set views enabling automatic updates, will take place in mid-April. But you can still download the service pack 1 from now on directly from windows update, just go to Start Menu -> All Programs and select Windows Update that would indicate the presence of the service pack 1.
In the event that windows update does not indicate the presence of the service pack 1 this could be due to several reasons, including the presence of a pre-release of SP1 is already installed or have windows vista in a language other than those for which 5 was released on SP1, so with windows vista windows update in Italian should not indicate the presence of SP1.
For those who have had problems to download and install SP1 with Windows Update you can download the standalone version of the service pack 1 of view from this page for the 32-bit version, and from this page for the 64-bit version. Before installing the SP1 read these pages .
Many problems with drivers would be solved although there are still problems with some drivers ( here is shown a list of these drivers) that may have problems when changing from Windows Vista to Windows Vista SP1. Some of these drivers exist and the updated version would be available for download on Windows Update as optional updates.
