Samba 3.2 Released

The team of Samba has announced the release of version 3.2 of the Samba , the open source suite that provides file and printer sharing to SMB / CIFS clients.
With Samba you can share files and resources between a Linux computer and a Windows computer, for example, you can share printers, directories, etc..
Among the novelties of this version support for clustered file server, a simplified configuration, better integration with Windows (including Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008), data encryption, reduced memory requirements, and support to IPv6. Also with regard to the code of Samba is started migrating from a monolithic application to a more modular architecture of libraries of functions that can be used to control and configure the Samba environment.

Starting from this version of Samba is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 .
