O3D Google, the web in 3D
Google has presented a few days ago a browser plugin which is implemented through O3D , an API that allows you to create 3D interactive web applications.
Google thus follows the lead of Mozilla and the Khronos Group.
You can install the plugin, released under license BSD, from this page. There are also examples , a developer's guide , a Technical Overview , API reference , discussion groups , a blog .
O3D is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and is compatible with major browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome.
